A Perfect Palette: Jungle Green and Hot Pink

With summer only round the corner colour is getting hotter! And this steamy pairing is perfect. The combination of this warm jungle green with the hot, tropical pink is really striking,  and conjures up images of rainforests, parrots, hibiscus flowers and the heat of the tropics. The colours are very strong, no pastel here, and this means this pair pack a real punch. Teamed with a pistachio green, pale yellow and a warm baby pink or peach a complex scheme could be created around these two while on white this duo have a fabulously 80s feel. In fact I think I had a jumper dress and matching ski pants in these very colours.

Let’s take a closer look at them, the pink used here is #C10F52 – nearly all magenta with touches of blue and yellow to add depth and interest and to give it a strong relationship to the green. The green itself is #009681 full saturation cyan packed full of yellow to create a pure, warm green of a similar hue to the pink which gives a strong balanced colour pairing.
