Raindrops keep falling

Here in the UK we are having the wettest summer on record and just last weekend a months worth of rain fell in two days. Bad news for sun lovers as there doesn’t look to be any let up in the deluge yet. I love the summer – the hotter and dryer the better – so I’m really missing the sunshine but while I was sat catching up with the days emails I noticed that the rain was falling at exactly the right angle to leave a beautiful pattern of raindrops all over the window.

The drops were all various sizes depending on how sheltered that part of the window was and the grey sky behind set the contrasts and shapes off beautifully. I grabbed my camera and caught a few just to prove there is beauty in anything, even the wettest summer on record!
